My now deceased husband and I signed a contract with The Shepherd Team approximately two years ago to sell our home in Sharpsburg, GA.

With the housing market being on the downside and our home being thirty-two years old, it has taken awhile to find a buyer.  Jo Shepherd and Linda Oesterle worked exceedingly hard at promoting the sale of our home.  When I did sign a contract, we had many problems with the buyer securing a loan.  The Shepherd Team handled every problem very professionally, and they were very thankful in finding me a suitable home in my price range.

The kids are all grown now, it's just the two of us and we were ready to buy our last home when we met Linda Oesterle & Jo Shepherd, a/k/a The Shepherd Team.  We wanted to take our time and look around, and we did.  Linda drove us all over Coweta, Paulding, Haralson, Heard, Troup, Carroll and Meriwether counties.  But it wasn't just driving, she wrestled gates, and lazy pets--climbed the longest uphill driveway imaginable, in heels no less; she did opt out of climbing that one fence, but then she blazed a trail through some nasty briars; that day left her bloody and bruised.  She never got frustrated, never became impatient, she just kept smiling and reassuring us that she would find the right one, and we'd know it as soon as we walked in.

She was right, in the end, Linda did find our perfect home, and we knew it immediately, it's just around the corner from where we've always made our home.  Along the way, Linda also led us to a unique investment opportunity with The Orchard at Carrollton.  It seems she has been able to do more than help us realize a wonderful dream; she's helped us realize a means of supporting future dreams.

No one could have asked for a better person who worked diligently and persevered to help me get the home that I wanted. Linda is a patient person. She did not limit the number of homes to look at, she did not rush you, and she did not try to persuade you to make a decision. When I was trying to recapture the layout or dynamics of a home we had seen earlier, without hesitation she would offer to return to the area.
